Spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, called on all stakeholders in Libya to maintain calm in the capital, Tripoli.
“Our message to all stakeholders, and to everyone who has influence over stakeholders in Libya, is the need to work to maintain stability in Libya and refrain from any provocative actions,” Dujarric said in a press conference.
Dujarric explained that the information we have says that the situation is calm in Tripoli, adding that “there is calm in Tripoli, and our message to all is the need to ensure that this calm continues.”
