Sudan: UNHCR describes a murky and complex scene on the ground, as displacement continues to neighboring countrie

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said it is expanding its work to help people seeking safety in countries neighboring Sudan, where the ongoing clashes are expected to cause an increase in waves of displacement inside and outside the country.

 

However, the Commission indicated that it had to stop some of its operations inside Sudan in the most affected areas, which increases the blurring of the scene, and confirmed that it is working to determine how to continue its work and the resources necessary for that.
